Shogaol and gingerol, compounds in ginger, can act as antiemetic. Ginger extract was formulatedby patch transdermal to increase the effectiveness of therapy minimize side effects. Inthis study, maceration with ethanol 96% used extraction method phytochemical screeningwas carried out identfy exctracted compounds. The formulation transdermalpatch matrix ginger concentrations 0,5 gr (F1), 1 (F2), 1,5 (F3).Evaluation by organoleptic test, weight, thickness, tensile strength,elongation at break, modulus young, moisturizer folding endurance. Effectiveness test usedwistar mice observed pica response a decreasing kaolin consumption. yield theextract obtained 6,46% it contained essential oils, flavonoids, steroids, polyphenols. Thebest characteristics concentration F3 weight 0,39 gr, thickness 0,23mm, strength 1,32 N/mm2, elongation break 129,52%, young's 0,96 mPa, humidity1,32%, endurance >200 times. also most effective 6%response 93,11% consumption day 9. In conclusion, F3can reduce nausea vomiting.
